Why am I rewriting Viktoria?
Viktoria was the first book I published, back in 2018 after a vivid dream stayed with me, tormenting me for months. It has remained my favourite of all my books and I still see it as a unique story and unlike any other book I know.
When I published Viktoria as an Indie author, I was naive regarding ISBN, categories, tropes and marketing a book. I published on KDP which is Amazon, allowing Amazon to assign their own ISBN to the book. At the time, I didn’t realise this meant I cannot add the book anywhere else, despite owning the rights to the book.
By unpublishing Viktoria, rewriting and restructuring the book and updating the cover, I can assign my own ISBN and republish again on Amazon, but also on IngramSpark, Draft2Digital, Kobo and a number of other sites where it will filter out to Dymocks, Barnes & Nobile, Booktopia and other outlets.
I believe I am a more experience and better refined writer than I was when I wrote Viktoria so have restructured the entire book into five parts and made significant changes, although the main story is still intact. I am keen to produce a hardcover of the book as well as an audio version.
All going well, I hope to do the same with a number of my other older books.

"I am from Australia and consider myself a story-teller. My primary writing goal is to entertain you, to keep you turning those pages not anticipating what will come next, not to mention - the story must involve something a little morbid or downright weird. If you found the stories easy to read, fast-paced, interesting, enjoyable and little bit quirky then my work is done."
